Be aware it's one of the wettest areas in Costa Rica. It's a beautiful rainforest with several types of orchids, waterfalls, reptiles and more than 400 species of birds. There are a number of hiking trails which are well marked with a sign at the trailhead. Take swim clothes with you. A gravel road leads into the park the reason it is not busy here.
