Stac Pollaidh One of the Assynt Hills

Which months can you recommend most for hiking in Scotland? Your places and pictures are pure nature. Think we give it a try for a week next year.

Where the Land Ends and the Sea Begins

Fantastic hike which we did it at my birthday with Teresa, Francisco, Toni and Paulo. I will never forget Pasteis de Nata and coffee at Praya da Ursa. Great surprise. It is difficult to find the whole trail by yourselves it is better to hike guided. I highly recommend Adraga restaurant.

Ajanta caves are close. Can probably be visited as well when staying in Aurangbad.

7 Tips to Master the Cave Stream at Arthurs Pass

It's one of the most thrilling things I ever did self-guided. Nevertheless, most challenging are the last waterfall due to the powerful flow and the ice-cold water. I was not able to climb up the waterfalls without a helping hand and got wet until my chest. It's a tough track; you need to be well prepared!

Sunset at the Pancake Rocks in the Paparoa National Park

We traveled to Paparoa in April. The weather was not perfect and pretty chilly in the night. We missed the high tide for the blowholes. Anyhow, it's a nice walk, but our main reason to stay in Punakaiki was the Pack Track. Due to severe weather conditions, parts of the trail were closed. Luckily, we found the Ballroom Overhang as an alternative.

Sinharaja Rainforest - 3 Tips - Entrances and Hiking Trails

Sinharaja is a must on your vacation in Sri Lanka. The biodiversity is immense. We spotted so much in such a short time. We hiked to the top of the Sinhagala. That took us a couple of hours although the trail is more or less 3 km long. Our guide had shown us many lizards, frogs, birds, endemic plants and trees. The 360° view was amazing. You even spot rare birds before you enter the park.
